MARINER, VALENCIA FAIR 2017

Feria Valencia has acknowledged the trajectory of Valencian firm Mariner, which has been present in Feria Valencia during each of its hundred years of its existence.

Last Tuesday, Feria Hábitat Valencia had a vivid opening day of the traditional furniture, lighting and decoration fair with a showcase of over 400 European  firms and brands.

During the inauguration, Feria Valencia recognised the trajectory of Valencian firm Mariner, which has been present in Feria Valencia during each of its hundred years of its existence, being the only company to hold this record since 1917.

The Mariner family has received the commemorative award from the President of the Valencian Government, Mr Ximo Puig. Also present at the event were the Mayor of Valencia and President of the Valencia Fair Board, Mr Joan Ribó, Feria Valencia’s President Mr Jose Vicente González and the Counsellor of Sustainable Economy, Mr Rafael Climent.

Feria Valencia is the oldest fair in Spain and the fourth in Europe. Its first edition took place on 10 May 1917.
